Shift Change........
Chad switched shifts with the other manager starting today. So instead of working the 8-8 shift he's now doing the 11-11. Makes for a really long day. Plus I've ran into a bit of a predicament with how to make dinner. I used to make it and have it ready at eight when he got home..... Now though, 11's awfully late for me to wait and eat, but I find it very depressing to cook a meal just to then sit down and eat alone. And I'm the type that if its just me I won't bother, I just don't eat. But I know I HAVE to eat I don't want bad habits to come back.... But what does one make just for one self???
Any Suggestions??

I'm hardly home long enough to cook a good meal so mainly have poptarts and hotpockets for breakfast/lunch. Every thing else in the fridge and cabinets are all her food. I just love it when she cooks a meal for me. No matter how bad it sometimes taste, I still eat it like I haven't eaten in weeks.
It's easy as pie..ok don't make pie. Salad, or sandwich or make something that you can have now and he can reheat later. DON'T eat after 7-8...shit I'm trying to not eat after 5-6 but it's not easy.
YSB: LOL poptarts are great...but my fav is Toaster Strodels!! I try and cook dinner everynight... Its so much cheaper and healthier than going out...
Trojan: I was thinking about getting stuff for salads, for my lunch.... I usally don;t eat lunch, I really gotta start doing better. I would like to eat dinner earlier but I usally don't get around to making it until the boys are in bed around eight. Thats probably my biggest problem, I know!! Breakfast at eight and then dinner at eight!! Way to long in between!!! I'm trying!!
I'm not a big dinner-eater. Usually it's cereal or a snack of nuts or something to munch.
I'm capable of cooking, but don't do it for myself. I wind up going out or eating some pre-packaged frozen stuff.
None of that helps, I guess.
Why not just eat with the boys? We try to do the sit down dinner most nights of the week even if it is just me and one of my kids.

I'm in the process of reworking their schedules for that... They're use to eating around four ever since bottles and then baby food.... and now theor still in the four mode. So over the last month or so I've been slowly moving dinner time for them back.. I've almost got them to wait till five with out having a melt down!! I'm much more ready to eat at five!! I'd still have to make seperate meals at times, cause they can't have anything with milk products, cooked or otherwise....
So yes, That is the goal!!
